ABOUT TEMPLETON HALL
Templeton Hall is located in the center of enchanting Cooperstown, NY. The Hall itself is a historic building constructed in 1832, having served during its long history as a church, community center, ladies’ dress shop and antiques store….and for the past 20 years, as Cooperstown’s premier banquet hall. Our convenient location is around the corner from the National Baseball Hall of Fame, within walking distance of most lodging and four churches, convenient to the trolley stop, and is handicapped accessible.
After a 40-year catering career, Lucy Townsend has retired and is now focusing on creating Templeton Hall as an event venue and providing both on and off-site bar services.
Please explore our venue rental options. We will walk through the planning process with you, and provide floor plans and event set-up services and an on-site event manager. We also have a full commercial kitchen, dishwasher, silverware, china, and glassware available for use by approved caterers. Don’t see the event configuration you’re envisioning?
